Description

A simple and very quick hummus recipe that you can easily store in the fridge.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Drain the chickpeas in a colander over a large bowl. You will use some of the liquid when processing.
  2. Add the chickpeas to a food processor with the rest of the ingredients (leave aside a little olive oil for garnish)
  3. Blitz the mixture with some of the chickpea liquid to a smooth consistency.
  4. Taste for salt
  5. Garnish with olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika

Notes

  • Hummus is a great source of fibre and good choice as a high-protein spread.
  • Use it as a spread on pitas, flatbreads, sourdough, or as a dip.
