Hummus
Description
A simple and very quick hummus recipe that you can easily store in the fridge.
Ingredients
Instructions
- Drain the chickpeas in a colander over a large bowl. You will use some of the liquid when processing.
- Add the chickpeas to a food processor with the rest of the ingredients (leave aside a little olive oil for garnish)
- Blitz the mixture with some of the chickpea liquid to a smooth consistency.
- Taste for salt
- Garnish with olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika
Notes
- Hummus is a great source of fibre and good choice as a high-protein spread.
- Use it as a spread on pitas, flatbreads, sourdough, or as a dip.
