Kebabs in Chutney

Description

Kebabs are also known as meatballs. In Indian cooking, various spices & herbs are added to the mince to enhance its flavour!

Ingredients (Kebabs)

  • Ingredients (Chutney)

Instructions

  1. Combine all the kebab ingredients and shape them into meatballs.
  2. Sauté the meatballs, remove from the pot & set aside
  3. In the same pot, saute all the chutney ingredients until it reduces
  4. Place the fried kebabs into the chutney
  5. Heat through, garnish with fresh coriander
  6. Serve with roti, pita, flatbread or spaghetti

Notes

  • Adjust the chillies as required as this is merely a guide.
  • A quick & tasty recipe to use for Spaghetti Bolognaise
  • Lean mince is a healthier option as it has less unhealthy fats.
  • Examples of lean mince are chicken/ostrich mince and topside beef mince.
  • Soya mince is a great vegetarian alternative.
